The Concept...

Move SomeBODY embraces the concept of functional training; movements mimicking activities performed in daily life. In other words, what in daily life requires you to repetitively perform bicep curls? Pretty much nothing, that's what! So why would you train your body that way?
Move SomeBODY will literally teach you how to "move some body!". Performing multi-muscle exercises not only burns  more calories which results in greater weight loss and toning, but also  improves muscular balance and joint stability. Anyone from a professional athlete honing their skills to an elderly grandmother training to maintain her independence would benefit from Functional Training.  And to top it all off...it's a lot more fun than bicep curls!

The Process...

Step 1-Consultation: You and your trainer will set up a time to meet and discuss your fitness goals. You will go over your HHQ (Health History Questionnaire) in detail and determine a time-line for your training. Your trainer will make a professional recommendation as to how many times a week you should be training and which session package is best suited to your goals. Consultations are complimentary, take about 20 minutes and require no physical activity.

Step 2- Physical Assessment: Time to determine your starting point! Your trainer will guide you through a series of exercises and tests to determine your current fitness abilities. The information gained through this assessment is what your trainer will use to make your first program.

Step 3- Let the fun begin!
